Welcome to Staffs on Tap ("we," "our," "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, mobile application, and related services (the "Platform"). By accessing or using Staffs on Tap, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
2. Our Services
Staffs on Tap is an online staffing platform that connects businesses ("Clients") with temporary staff ("Workers"). We provide the technology to facilitate these connections but are not an employer of Workers.
- Clients are responsible for compliance with employment and workplace regulations when engaging Workers.
- Workers are engaged on a temporary, flexible basis, and are responsible for ensuring they meet eligibility and right-to-work requirements in the UK.
3. Eligibility
To use our Platform, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- For Workers: hold the legal right to work in the UK.
- For Clients: have the authority to hire and pay Workers.
4. Accounts and Security
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details.
- You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
5. Bookings and Payments
- Clients may post shifts via the Platform.
- Workers may apply for or accept available shifts.
- Payments are processed securely through our Platform. Workers will be paid in accordance with agreed rates, less any applicable fees or deductions.
- Clients are responsible for ensuring accurate payment and compliance with applicable employment laws.
6. Fees and Charges
- We charge a service fee to Clients for use of the Platform.
- All fees will be communicated clearly before confirmation of a booking.
- We reserve the right to amend fees with reasonable notice.
7. Conduct and Responsibilities
All users of Staffs on Tap agree to:
- Use the Platform only for lawful purposes.
- Provide accurate information in all communications and profiles.
- Treat other users with respect and professionalism.
We reserve the right to remove any content or suspend any account that breaches these obligations.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, and software on the Platform are owned by or licensed to Staffs on Tap. You may not copy, distribute, or exploit any part of the Platform without our written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
- We provide the Platform "as is" without warranties of any kind.
- We are not responsible for the actions, omissions, or suitability of Clients or Workers.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for loss, damages, or claims arising from use of the Platform.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms or misuse the Platform. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
